A secondary school in Isleworth is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Engineering specialist to teach across KS3 to KS5 within a supportive school environment. The role includes full planning and marking responsibilities and would suit both qualified teachers and experienced unqualified instructors with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience.

The position is long-term and could potentially become permanent.

The Role

The successful Engineering Teacher will

Teach Engineering across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons

Mark and assess student work in line with school policies

Differentiate lessons to support varying abilities

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Contribute positively to the wider department and school community

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have

Experience teaching Engineering or a related subject within a secondary school or college setting

Strong subject knowledge across KS3 to KS5

The ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons

Good classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

A valid enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

QTS is welcomed but not essential. The school is open to considering experienced candidates without Qualified Teacher Status.
