About you

The Breast Imaging Department at Northwick Park Hospital has an opening for an enthusiastic Band 7 Mammographer to join its friendly and highly skilled multi-professional team. They are a busy symptomatic site who offer tomosynthesis, stereotactic guided procedures, both vacuum assisted biopsies and excisions, and are establishing a new contrast enhanced service.

Role Responsibilites

  • The Breast Care Unit has a Hologic 3Dimensions Mammography System. You will be expected to operate this unit daily in order to provide a high quality imaging service for all patients.
  • You will be expected to provide care for the patients in both busy one-stop clinics as well as surveillance and family history clinics, and must be confident to perform a comprehensive range of breast procedures without supervision.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced

Mammograper with

  • BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography
  • PG Certificate in Mammography
  • HCPC Registration
  • Must have Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum two years experience working within a symptomatic breast unit or within the NHSBSP
