Summary of duties
Phlebotomy - plus BNP and D-dimer poct BP & 24-hour BP monitoring BMI calculations ECGs Basic wound care including removal of sutures, clips and simple dressings NHS Health checks, Diabetic checks Urinalysis, other samples as applicable Vaccinations and injections under PSD (if trained) Assisting with Family planning clinics Chaperoning Ensure clinical waste collection runs smoothly, reporting any problems to the nursing team. Restocking/ maintenance and infection control of equipment in clinical areas and consulting rooms. Recording of information according to regulation
