What you will be doing

  • Leading

a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and

trusted point of support.

  • Assisting

with personal care, meals, and daily living tasks.

  • Administering

medication (following training and guidelines).

  • Updating

care plans and maintaining accurate records.

  • Delivering

the highest standard of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence,

and wellbeing for every resident.

  • Maintaining

a clean, organised, and hygienic environment.

  • Supporting

family members and visitors.

What you need to succeed

  • At

least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior

Care Assistant.

  • Level

3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or

working towards it).

  • Trained

in medication administration.

  • Excellent

people and customer service skills.

  • Ability

to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.

  • Time

management skills to delegate tasks within a team.

  • Excellent

communication skills – verbal (within the team and to other external

professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) and digital

skills.

  • Caring

attitude.

  • Flexible

and reliable.
