We are a fast-growing, acquisitive group with over 120 sites, and we’re now looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our collaborative finance team in Windsor.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, you’ll play a central role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting across the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, including disclosures and supporting documentation
  • Ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance across the group
  • Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
  • Manage Capex reporting and the Fixed Asset Register
  • Support month-end close processes, including journals and head office reporting
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g. ONS submissions)
  • Partner with non-finance stakeholders, explaining financial information clearly
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and projects as the business continues to grow

About You

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven accountant with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Key requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or newly qualified)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong controls mindset
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator, able to engage non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs)
  • Experience with Sage 200 (or similar) is desirable
  • Experience in a multi-site or social care environment is advantageous
  • Eligible to work in the UK and pass a DBS check
