We are a fast-growing, acquisitive group with over 120 sites, and we’re now looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our collaborative finance team in Windsor.
About The Role
Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, you’ll play a central role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting across the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
- Prepare and review statutory accounts, including disclosures and supporting documentation
- Ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance across the group
- Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
- Manage Capex reporting and the Fixed Asset Register
- Support month-end close processes, including journals and head office reporting
- Assist with the annual budgeting process
- Contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g. ONS submissions)
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders, explaining financial information clearly
- Support ad-hoc reporting and projects as the business continues to grow
About You
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven accountant with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or newly qualified)
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong controls mindset
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator, able to engage non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with Sage 200 (or similar) is desirable
- Experience in a multi-site or social care environment is advantageous
- Eligible to work in the UK and pass a DBS check
