Our client, a reputable UK-wide recovery and mobile vehicle servicing company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in Ashford.

Duties of a

Mobile Vehicle Technician

• Conduct planned maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer vehicles at their premises
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction on each job
• Maintain accurate service records and follow company procedures
• Use diagnostic tools and electrical systems to identify faults
• Manage your daily schedule effectively, with minimal roadside callouts
• Support the company’s reputation by delivering professional customer service
• Keep the fully equipped van in optimal condition and comply with health and safety policies
• Report technical issues to the support team and follow recommended repairs

Requirements of a

Mobile Vehicle Technician

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Level 2 (or higher) light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills
• Customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a mobile workload
• Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models is desirable
• Basic IT and diagnostic software proficiency is advantageous, but not essential
