Senior Frontend Developer

About this role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer with strong experience in TypeScript and React Native to join our development team. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance web applications and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.

This is initially a six-month contract with potential for extension. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the London office, and is full-time at 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, responsive applications using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript

Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and engaging interfaces

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices

Optimise applications for performance and scalability

Participate in code reviews to ensure high development standards

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments

Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate on overall application design

Ensure application security and scalability through best development practices

Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend new tools and libraries where appropriate

Skills & Experience Required

Proven commercial experience with React.js, React Native, and TypeScript

Strong knowledge of modern front-end technologies and frameworks

Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Recoil, or similar

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

Experience using version control systems, particularly Git

-

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles

Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills

Ability to produce clean, modular, and well-documented code

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
