Our client, a reputable specialist in vehicle restoration and bespoke conversions based in Croydon, Surrey, is seeking a skilled Restoration Vehicle Technician / Mig Welder to join their dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to work on a variety of classic and modern projects in a well-equipped, independent workshop.

- Competitive salary between £32,000 and £40,500 per annum, with overtime available

Duties of a
Restoration Vehicle Technician
- Fabricating and Mig welding on a variety of vehicle panels and structures
- Performing bodywork repairs and modifications on vans and other motor vehicles
- Assisting with mechanical repairs, including engine and drivetrain work
- Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across all projects
- Working independently on projects with a focus on attention to detail
- Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Requirements of a
Restoration Vehicle Technician
- Proven experience as a Restoration Vehicle Technician, Welder, Fabricator, or Motor Engineer
- Strong skills in Mig welding, fabrication, and vehicle mechanical repair
- Versatile and capable of working on both classic and modern vehicle platforms
- Ability to work independently with a keen eye for accuracy and quality
- Experience with older vehicle restorations is advantageous but not essential
- Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to varying projects and tasks
