Role Overview
OVL Group Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Operations Lead to take ownership of the daily execution of all leasing operations, with a particular focus on order processing, supplier coordination, and delivery management.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on managing workflow, solving problems quickly, and ensuring every deal progresses efficiently from initial order through to delivery and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
1. Order Management (Core Focus)
- Take full ownership of all live orders from proposal to vehicle delivery
- Process new orders accurately and ensure all documentation is complete
- Liaise daily with funders, dealers, and customers to progress orders
- Track each deal proactively and resolve delays or issues quickly
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and to customer expectations

2. Supplier & Funder Management (Core Focus)
- Act as the primary operational contact for funders, dealerships, and suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure agreed service levels are met
- Escalate and resolve supply chain issues (stock delays, spec changes, pricing discrepancies)
- Maintain strong, responsive relationships with key partners

3. Day-to-Day Operations
- Manage the operational workflow across the business, ensuring nothing stalls
- Prioritise workload and handle multiple deals simultaneously
- Maintain accurate records across CRM and internal systems
- Support quotes, order amendments, and in-life contract queries

4. Customer Delivery & Experience
- Ensure a smooth and professional customer journey from order to handover
- Proactively update customers on progress and manage expectations
- Handle any delivery issues, complaints, or escalations
- Work to minimise cancellations and maximise conversion rates

5. Process Control & Accuracy
- Ensure all deals meet funder requirements and are compliant before submission
- Check contracts, finance documents, and order details for accuracy
- Reduce errors, rework, and delays through attention to detail
- Continuously improve operational processes where inefficiencies are identified

6. Team Support (Hands-On Leadership)
- Support and guide junior/admin staff in processing orders
- Step in directly where workloads increase or issues arise
- Help build a strong, accountable, and delivery-focused team culture

Key Skills & Experience
- Preferred proven experience in vehicle leasing, automotive finance, or fleet operations
- Strong hands-on experience managing vehicle orders and dealer/funder relationships
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions at once
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Commercial awareness around pricing, margins, and supplier negotiation
- Experience working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

Package (Indicative)
- Competitive salary dependent on experience circa £30,000 to £35,000 PA
