About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join a fast-paced transport and logistics team. This is an early-start role, supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth coordination of administrative tasks within a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general administrative duties to support the transport office
- Inputting and updating data accurately on internal systems
- Handling driver paperwork, delivery notes, and relevant documentation
- Answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
- Filing, scanning, and maintaining organised records
- Assisting with scheduling and daily operational tasks
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations
Requirements
- Previous administration experience preferred (ideally in transport/logistics, but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for early start times
