Duties of a
Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- Conducting service checks and repairs
- Performing diagnostics using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Carrying out MOT tests, provided you hold a current MOT license
- Undertaking vehicle road tests
- Providing technical advice and support to colleagues
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer procedures
- Carrying out other workshop duties as required
Requirements of a
Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (City & Guilds)
- Diagnostic Vehicle Technician capability
- Confident in performing a wide range of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- MOT license is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and excellent work ethic
