About this role

Position Summary

We are seeking a Packaging Associate to support the production of microbiological diagnostic products.within a controlled clean room environment. This role sits within the Microbiology Division (MBD) and plays a keypart in delivering solutions that support infectious disease diagnosis andbacterial contamination detection, contributing directly to public health andsafety.

£13.20/hr PAYE basic

Key Responsibilities

-

Operate on dispensing lines

  • Feed plates into production lines
  • Inspect and check produced plates
  • Load plates onto trays for drying

Perform packing activities

  • Pack dried plates into foil pouches
  • Box finished products into sales units
  • Assemble, bag, and package accessory products as required
  • Reconcile batch numbers and maintain production accuracy
  • Manufacture ID seals and labels
  • Maintain cleanliness in controlled clean and packing areas
  • Follow all SOPs and GMP processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Manufacturing / production / operations experience
  • Laboratory or similar environment exposure
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment
  • Must be comfortable working in temperatures between 2°C and 8°C
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
