We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher (QTS required) to join our specialist school in Grateley from September 2026.

Our school currently supports 38 students, with class sizes capped at a maximum of 6 pupils, allowing staff to build meaningful relationships and provide highly personalised learning experiences.

All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), so experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly advantageous.

You will

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned to the National Curriculum
  • Support students working towards GCSE qualifications in Year 11
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student progress
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Maths across secondary age groups
  • Is patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
  • Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Has previous SEN experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Small class sizes and high levels of support
