About the Role

Inspire EHC are recruiting for a Primary SEN Teacher to join a specialist school supporting pupils aged 6 - 11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated needs.

This role involves teaching pupils working below age-related expectations, delivering personalised learning in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver differentiated lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes
  • Support pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex needs
  • Monitor progress and complete assessments and reports
  • Work closely with SEN staff and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Support behaviour management strategies effectively
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and meetings

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential
  • Experience within SEN, SEND, ASC or SEMH settings preferred
  • Experience teaching KS1 or KS2
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
