Academic Mentor

A high achieving school in Ealing is seeking a full-time Academic Mentor to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate to work closely with students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve strong academic progress.

In this Academic Mentor role, you will support students both in lessons and through targeted intervention sessions.

Working on a 1

1 basis and with small groups, you will help reinforce key concepts, develop study skills, and boost students’ confidence in subjects where they need additional support.

The school has a strong track record of developing graduates and offers excellent mentoring from experienced teachers and middle leaders. You’ll gain valuable insight into lesson planning, behaviour management, and effective teaching strategies, making this an ideal stepping stone into teacher training.

This role would suit a graduate with a strong academic background and some experience working with young people through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or voluntary roles.
