The successful 1
1 Early Years Teaching Assistant will provide focused one-to-one support to help a child access learning, build confidence, and develop key social and communication skills throughout the school day.
The school is a well-established Early Years provision within the local community, recognised for its supportive ethos and child-focused approach to learning. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. The leadership team is highly supportive and places strong importance on staff wellbeing, professional development, and building positive partnerships with families. The Early Years environment is well-resourced, with indoor and outdoor learning spaces designed to support creativity, independence, and play-based learning.

The school is looking for a 1:1 Early Years Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships, adapt support strategies to meet individual needs, and work effectively as part of a wider team. Job Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a child within the Early Years setting
- Support the child's communication, social, emotional, and academic development
- Adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of the pupil
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff members, and parents
- Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources, and daily routines
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the wider school team
Qualifications/Experience
· SEN experience
· Experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
· Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
· Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
· Right to work in the UK
