Make an Impact in Global Logistics

Join a purpose-driven, international organisation where your work directly supports life-changing outcomes around the world. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in getting the details right when it matters most, this role offers the opportunity to grow, contribute, and make a real difference every day.

What you'll be doing

You will take ownership of time-critical international air export and domestic road shipments, ensuring every movement is compliant, accurate, and efficiently managed from start to finish.

Working closely with customers, overseas partners, carriers, and customs brokers, you'll coordinate shipments, select the best routing options, resolve issues proactively, and ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are met throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Customer communication & shipment visibility

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and virtual platforms
  • Provide timely and accurate shipment updates using internal systems
  • Support customers and international partners with compliance and regulatory queries

Shipment processing & compliance

  • Verify shipment accuracy prior to dispatch against documentation
  • Ensure Dangerous Goods consignments are handled in line with applicable regulations
  • Select optimal air and road routes balancing cost, speed, and any temperature-control requirements
  • Coordinate customs clearance and ensure documentation is exchanged within required timelines

Documentation & reporting

  • Prepare and manage all shipment documentation including air waybills, manifests, labels, pre-alerts, and export declarations
  • Maintain accurate records within the transport management system
  • Produce reports using shipment and operational data to agreed deadlines
  • Follow established procedures, quality standards, and client protocols at all times

What you'll bring

You are customer-focused, detail-driven, and comfortable working under time-critical conditions. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and remain calm when priorities shift.

You will ideally have

  • At least 2 years' experience in international logistics or customs (airfreight experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of airfreight routings and airline operations
  • Awareness of Dangerous Goods or IATA requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and transport or shipment management systems
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
  • A collaborative mindset, with confidence working across global teams and time zones

Experience in logistics, supply chain, cold chain, or courier environments will be highly beneficial.

Why this role stands out

This is more than an operational logistics role. You'll be trusted to manage sensitive, time-critical shipments that require precision, accountability, and excellent coordination. You'll build strong working relationships across teams and borders, contribute to continuous improvement, and develop valuable expertise in global logistics and compliance.

If you're organised, adaptable, and motivated by delivering an exceptional customer experience in a role where every detail counts, we'd love to hear from you.
