Head of Maths – The Role

A forward-thinking secondary school in Canterbury is seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Head of Maths to lead their successful department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving standards across the department, leading curriculum development, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school is looking for an inspirational leader with excellent subject knowledge, a proven track record of raising attainment, and the ability to motivate both students and staff. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a committed team within a school that values academic excellence, staff development, and outstanding outcomes for all learners.

Rate

£35,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
