Multi-Site Management travelling to sites within 0.5 miles of Witney, Oxfordshire

DUTIES

Your duties as the

Warehouse Operations Manager include

•

Leading Warehouse Operations

Managing day-to-day warehouse activities across multiple sites to ensure operational efficiency and service delivery

•

Managing Fulfilment Operations

Overseeing short lead-time fulfilment across retail, wholesale, pub, and e-commerce channels

•

Driving Team Performance

Providing leadership, coaching, and support to supervisors, team leaders, and warehouse operatives

• Monitoring Operational KP

Is

Tracking productivity, service levels, stock accuracy, and customer performance metrics

•

Supporting Continuous Improvement

Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

•

Implementing Systems Improvements

Supporting the introduction and embedding of warehouse management systems and digital workflows

•

Maintaining Stock Accuracy

Ensuring effective stock control, traceability, and product integrity standards are maintained

•

Managing Customer Relationships

Acting as a key operational contact and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

•

Supporting Compliance Standards

Ensuring health & safety, food hygiene, and operational compliance procedures are consistently followed

•

Providing Hands-On Leadership

Maintaining a visible presence within warehouse operations and supporting teams during busy periods

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Significant previous experience in a warehouse management role within a fast-paced operational environment, ideally with exposure to multi-site operations
• Proven experience of leading teams and driving operational performance improvements, and operating with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence using operational systems, reporting tools, and performance data
• A proactive and hands-on leadership approach
• Ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience managing complex warehouse or logistics operations with responsibility for people, process, and performance
• Experience in food, FMCG, logistics, or temperature-controlled warehouse environments
• Experience working within a 3PL or supply chain operation
• Experience supporting or implementing warehouse management systems
• Understanding of multi-channel fulfilment including e-commerce operations
• Continuous improvement and operational transformation experience
