Health & Safety Manager - £45,000 - £60,000 – Widmore, BR1
Are you an experienced construction Health & Safety professional ready to lead across live projects? Do you have strong knowledge of CDM 2015, RAMS and site compliance?
Ammcass CE Group is a growing Principal Contractor delivering construction and engineering projects across the UK.
The role
We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop the company-wide H&S function across multiple live construction projects.
This is a senior role with real influence. You will manage safety strategy, site standards, fire safety, compliance systems and day-to-day operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Health & Safety across multiple construction sites.
Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, including CDM 2015.
Develop and maintain H&S policies and procedures.
Lead on RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, site mobilisation and toolbox talks.
Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
Support Site Managers and operational teams with safe delivery.
Manage incident investigations, reporting and H&S documentation.
Oversee traffic management, logistics and emergency planning.
Act as Fire Safety Lead, including fire risk assessments and hot works controls.
Maintain the Operations Manual and compliance systems.

The person
You will need
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of UK construction H&S legislation.
Experience with a Principal Contractor.
Proven experience managing H&S across live construction projects.
Excellent understanding of CDM 2015, RAMS, CPPs, audits and compliance systems.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Full UK driving licence.
CMIOSH status, ISO 45001 experience, a Fire Safety qualification, or experience across commercial and residential projects would be useful.
