About this role

Mental Health Nursing qualification , with professional registration NMC, Evidence of continuing professional development e.g. relevant training Additional qualification /diploma in related field e.g. Mental Health, leadership, coaching, mentorship, family workExperience Extensive post registration experience in adult mental health in a variety of Mental health setting Experience of undertaking a leadership role Experience of working with people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness Experience of providing supervision in a clinical setting Experience in managingsafeguarding concerns and risk Ability to analyse complex issues/problems, provide guidance and make decisions (A/I) Skills in mental health and risk assessments (A/I) Skills in crisis management (A/I) Ability to provide care that is sensitive to the needs of minority groups (A/I) Effectively manage a clinical caseload, complete outcomesmeasures routinely, update clinical records in line with team, serviceand Trust requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills (A/I) Skilled in the use of ICT, particularlyMicrosoft Office Knowledge of CPA, Community Care Act, Carers Act, Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation as application to practice Knowledge of race and gender issues as they pertain to people with serious mental health problemsExcellent knowledge & experience of assessment and risk assessment tools.
