Vehicle Technician Required for Car Dealership in Sidcup, Kent

Pay

£40 - £45k Basic + £15k OTE

Hours

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota system

Join our client as a Vehicle Technician at their busy dealership in Sidcup, Greater London. Benefits

• Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
• OTE earning potential of £60,000 or more per year
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm
• Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 in 4, from 8am to 12.30pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Diagnose and repair a wide range vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Carry out routine servicing and complex fault diagnostics
• Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
• Ensure service and repair work meets quality standards and targets
• Advise customers on additional repair or maintenance needs
• Use the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records
• Perform vehicle road tests and complete health checks for customers
• Stay updated with technical information and product updates through ongoing training

Requirments of a Vehicle Technician

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment, ideally with BMW or MINI
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
• Knowledge of working in a busy main dealership desirable
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving license, minimum 1 year’s driving experience
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high workshop standards
