About the role

Active Care in the Home have children's care packages in Hailsham, Bexhill-on-Sea and Pevensey.

We're looking to recruit more Children's Support Workers to work across these children's packages of care. Our young clients have conditions such as autism, ADHD, epilepsy and challenging behaviour or complex clinical health needs. Our clients live at home with their families and we provide Support Workers to support them in their family homes and taking them out in the community to do activities.

We require candidates that hold a full UK drivers licence to be able to drive our client's vehicles.

When you will be working

Hailsham package

weekday afternoons 3.30pm-6.30pm and Saturdays 9.30am-6pm. Plus back up for the morning shifts (6.30am-8am)

Hailsham package

5 hours on a Saturday

Bexhill on Sea package

Tuesdays and Thursdays 3.30pm-6.30pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm (non term time this changes to Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm)

Pevensey package

Weekdays 4pm-8pm (back up bank cover only)

  • All shift times above are for term time and can differ during school holidays

In this role, you'll support individuals with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
