LPT 6, £20,869 - £22,383 per annum (Actual) £31,481- £33,764 per annum (FTE)We are seeking a highly organised and professional HR Administrator to support the school’s HR and safeguarding functions. The successful candidate will manage safer recruitment processes, staff contracts, personnel records, and maintain the School’s Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure compliance with safeguarding requirements. The role also involves acting as the main liaison with the Learning Partners Academy Trust HR team and providing administrative safeguarding support to the Senior Leadership Team and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

About the Role
Manage the recruitment process for teaching and support staff, including adverts, interviews, pre-employment checks, and onboarding.
Maintain accurate HR records, staff files, contracts, and absence information in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
Act as the main point of contact for staff HR queries, providing support and guidance on policies and procedures.
Maintain and update the School’s Single Central Record (SCR) and coordinate safeguarding checks, training, and compliance records.
Complete key school administration tasks, including workforce and pupil census returns, policy administration, and supporting the wider office team when required.
About you
Educated to Level 3 or above (e.g. A level), with GCSEs (above 5) in English and Maths; HR (CIPD) or business-related qualifications are desirable.
Experienced in a busy administrative or HR role, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Confident using school MIS and HR systems such as Bromcom, SAM People, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
