Our client, a leading educational institution in Gatwick, West Sussex, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work alongside our dedicated teaching staff, providing invaluable assistance to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small group support, helping students with their learning, and implementing personalised strategies to ensure their academic and social-emotional development.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, where every student feels empowered to reach their full potential. You will collaborate closely with our teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans, ensuring that our SEND students receive the individualised attention and care they deserve.

Ideally, you will have previous experience working with SEND students, a strong understanding of their unique needs, and a passion for making a positive impact. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with both students and colleagues.

In this role, you will be expected to provide support within the classroom setting, as well as during extracurricular activities and field trips. Your flexibility and adaptability will be crucial as you navigate the diverse needs of our SEND students, and your commitment to their well-being will be paramount.

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £21,000 to £24,000 per annum, recognising the vital role that SEND Teaching Assistants play in our institution. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
