We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a high‑impact Finance Transformation Programme, ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

This role is accountable for shaping, mobilising and governing a complex programme of work that enables strategic business change and delivers measurable value.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who will act as the bridge between strategic vision and operational execution, providing strong leadership, clear governance and effective change delivery.

The Programme Manager will ensure transformation outcomes are realised and sustained, with programmes aligned to organisational priorities and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Finance Transformation Programme from inception to completion.

Own programme governance, including planning, reporting, RAID management and steering committee coordination.

Align programme delivery with strategic business objectives, ensuring outcomes deliver measurable value.

Manage senior stakeholder engagement, including executive sponsors, to enable clear communication, alignment and decision-making.

Oversee benefits realisation, financial tracking and budget management across the programme.

Coordinate resources and dependencies across multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery.

Provide strong leadership across cross-functional teams to drive change and maintain momentum.

Ensure structured programme delivery in line with recognised frameworks and best practice.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation or complex programme management initiatives.

Strong programme management experience within complex transformation or change environments.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement at senior and executive level.

Deep understanding of programme governance, planning, RAID management and structured delivery frameworks (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, Agile).

Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and benefits realisation tracking.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams, translate strategy into practical delivery outcomes and drive sustainable change.
