About the roleThis isn’t a typical care role.

As a Relief Care & Support Worker, you’ll support tenants living in their own flats—helping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, you’ll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

This post is for bank staff to cover absence on a relief as and when required basis, working days between 7am and 9pm and will include some weekends.

Typical shifts would be 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 9pm.

What you’ll be doing - Supporting tenants with personal care and daily living

• Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
• Building trusted relationships with tenants and their families
• Supporting wellbeing through social activities and community engagement
• Working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support
• Keeping accurate records and using care planning systems

What we’re looking for - Caring, compassionate, and respectful

• A great communicator who enjoys building relationships
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable supporting people with different needs, including dementia
• Willing to learn and develop

Experience in care is helpful but not essential—we provide full training.
