Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and inclusive Harrow primary school to recruit four SEN Teaching Assistants across KS1 and KS2 for September.

The school is beginning the recruitment process early and will be running trial days throughout June, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants to secure a role well ahead of the new academic year.

These positions involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs and SEMH, across both classroom and targeted support settings.

About the Role

Working closely with class teachers and the SENCo, your responsibilities may include

Providing 1

1 and small-group SEN support across KS1 or KS2

* Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and communication needs

* Helping pupils remain engaged, regulated and confident within the classroom

* Delivering targeted interventions and adapted learning activities

* Supporting emotional regulation using calm and consistent approaches

* Encouraging independence, positive behaviour and social interaction

* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

The school is looking for individuals who are patient, proactive and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary setting

* Understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language needs

* Calm, nurturing and adaptable approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
