Care Support Worker

About this role

As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you will deliver compassionate, person-centered care to vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities include providing hands-on personal care, medication support, companionship, and maintaining accurate care records using mobile technology.

Working flexibly across shifts, you'll build meaningful relationships with service users and families while following personalised care plans. We offer comprehensive training including Care Certificate qualification, ongoing supervision, and continuous professional development in a supportive environment where you can truly make a difference to people's lives every day.

A full UK Drivers License is required and access to your own car.

To provide hands-on care and support to service users in their own homes
To assist service users in maintaining their independence and quality of life
To ensure care is delivered in accordance with care plans
To work flexibly across shifts to meet service user needs
To always provide compassionate care that respects dignity

MAIN DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST

To deliver person-centred care to service users with compassion and respect
To assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, and toileting
To support with medication administration under supervision
To complete accurate care documentation including daily care notes
To identify and report any changes in service users' health
To ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures
To maintain service users' homes in a clean and tidy condition
To provide companionship and emotional support
To assist with meal preparation and shopping tasks
To use mobile technology for care recording and shift management
