Care Support Worker

About this role

As a Domiciliary Care Support Worker, you will deliver compassionate, person-centered care to vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities include providing hands-on personal care, medication support, companionship, and maintaining accurate care records using mobile technology.

Working flexibly across shifts, you'll build meaningful relationships with service users and families while following personalised care plans. We offer comprehensive training including Care Certificate qualification, ongoing supervision, and continuous professional development in a supportive environment where you can truly make a difference to people's lives every day.

A full UK Drivers License is required and access to your own car.

MAIN DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST

  • To deliver person-centred care to service users with compassion and respect
  • To assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • To support with medication administration under supervision
  • To complete accurate care documentation including daily care notes
  • To identify and report any changes in service users' health
  • To ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures
  • To maintain service users' homes in a clean and tidy condition
  • To provide companionship and emotional support
  • To assist with meal preparation and shopping tasks
  • To use mobile technology for care recording and shift management
