• Plan daily delivery routes for vehicles across multiple locations
• Use route planning software and systems to optimise routes based on distance, cost, and delivery windows
• Factor in traffic, weather, vehicle capacity, and delivery priorities

Driver coordination

• Brief drivers on routes, schedules, and special delivery requirements
• Act as the link between drivers, warehouse, and customers

Delivery monitoring

• Track deliveries in real time and ensure deadlines are met
• Adjust routes quickly in response to delays, breakdowns, or customer changes

Customer & internal communication

• Provide delivery updates to customers and internal teams
• Resolve issues such as late deliveries or access problems

Logistics efficiency

• Identify opportunities to reduce fuel costs and improve delivery efficiency
• Analyse route data and suggest improvements to operations

Compliance & admin

• Ensure routes comply with transport regulations and driver hours rules
• Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and performance
