I am a caring Mum looking for a kind, reliable Personal Assistant to support my adult son in our family home.

My son has muscular dystrophy and lives with myself, his sister and our black Labrador, whom he loves spending time with. He is a calm, quiet and gentle person who enjoys watching TV, using the computer, and following Manchester City.

He keeps in contact with his friends by using the computer. He can no longer play games using the controller, but he will watch things on his computer. He has been homebound for approximately eight years now, and he cannot tolerate leaving the house. He does not like change, and this can be distressing for him.

He is verbal and able to communicate his needs.

He uses a wheelchair and requires transfers with a ceiling hoist.
