£35,000 – £52,000 per year

Blooming Kids is a family-run childcare provider with two nursery settings in Andover, Hampshire, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and motivated Nursery Manager to join our growing team.

This role offers a unique opportunity and flexibility depending on the candidate’s experience and leadership ability.

We are open to recruiting either

A Manager for one individual setting, or

A Senior Manager overseeing both nursery locations

This is why the salary range is broad, as responsibilities and leadership expectations will vary depending on the final role agreed.

Our settings include

The Wellington Centre – Under 3’s setting

Harris Hall – Pre-school setting (3+)

We are looking for somebody who is warm, approachable, highly organised, and genuinely passionate about delivering outstanding early years care and education.

Main Responsibilities

Leading and supporting nursery staff teams

Ensuring high-quality childcare and learning environments

Overseeing safeguarding, welfare, and compliance

Supporting staff development, supervisions, and training

Building strong parent partnerships

Managing day-to-day nursery operations

Supporting occupancy growth and continuous improvement

Ensuring excellent standards in line with EYFS and Ofsted expectations

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years

Previous nursery leadership or management experience

Strong safeguarding and EYFS knowledge

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Positive and professional leadership style

Desirable

Level 5 qualification or above

Experience across multiple settings

SENCo and/or DSL experience

Ofsted leadership experience
