Mental Health Practitioner | North London NHS Foundation Trust

The successful candidate will work within the MDT to provide assessment and interventions for those referred to the service. A vital part of the role is the Triage function of the service, screening referrals and offering advice, guidance and signposting where necessary.

The candidate will be based within the multidisciplinary Mental Health Safeguarding (MASH) Hub which will besituated within Integrated Mental Health Services in Enfield and operate using a virtual multi-agency model in collaboration with (Centralised MASH).

Working jointly consultations with the MDT, as well as wider networks including GPs, interface services and the voluntary sector.

• Triage; screening of referrals and other correspondence such as Safeguarding Alerts, Police Reports and enquiries from GP's, LBI Housing/Social Care and patient/carer emails.
• SAM Oversight of safeguarding referrals and cases.
• Assessment of current care and support needs
• Interventions based on speciality of practice, including joint working with other C&I Services
• Engagement in service delivery and development; attendance to MDT meetings, supervision and other training opportunities.

• Documenting assessments on EPR systems - including EMIS and Carenotes
• Engaging in supervision and supporting supervision of junior staff and students
