We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experiencedLead Occupational Therapist

The East London Community Forensic Service is a specialist multidisciplinary service which supports service users with the transition from inpatient secure care to reintegration in the community. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our large multidisciplinary service, community Forensic Therapies team and Forensic Directorate OT Department.

The role combines clinical and leadership skills including leading on the OT provision for the service, as well as input into the overall therapy service, working closely with the Lead Psychologist and other members of the team. You will hold a referral-based clinical caseload providing occupational focused assessment and intervention to support individuals to live full and meaningful lives in the community. The role involves working across a number of boroughs with a number of professionals and as such would suit someone who enjoys variety in their role and is able to be flexible and autonomous. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in mental health / forensic setting and / or a community team.
