Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.
The strategic vision for the department is for staff to work seamlessly across both sites, delivering both inpatient and outpatient care at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital. The appointed individuals are expected to uphold the Trust values to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care to patients with liver disease.
The appointee must be a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or equivalent and would be expected to have completed higher specialist training or equivalent in Hepatology. It is highly desirable that the appointee holds a higher medical degree (i.e. MD or PhD).
Applicants must be on the Specialist Register (for Hepatology) or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK.
Any candidate who is unable, for personal reasons, to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
