Maintain the home environment to a high standard, including household tasks, maintenance reporting and health and safety

Ensure all policies, procedures and legislation are implemented and followed by yourself and the team

Relationships

Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, education providers, families and other professionals

Promote effective communication between the team, young people, their families and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Essential

Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in children and young people's services

Experience working with children and young people, including managing challenging behaviours

Proven ability to lead, prioritise and manage a team

Strong written skills for documentation and record keeping

Full UK driving licence

Good time management and communication skills

Desirable

Minimum 12 months' experience in a children's residential setting

Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting the induction of new colleagues

Flexibility around shift patterns

Strong IT skills and problem-solving ability
