Omni Facilities Management is hiring a Housekeeping Trainer to join our fantastic team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and standards-driven Housekeeping Trainer to support our housekeeping teams and ensure all employees are trained to deliver the required hotel and company standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong housekeeping experience who enjoys developing people, improving standards and working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Shift Pattern

-

Up to 37.5 hours per week

-

Monday to Sunday, based on a 24/7 operation

Flexibility is required to support business needs

Main Duties

As a Housekeeping Trainer, you will be responsible for supporting team members to perform their roles confidently, safely and to the required standard.

Your duties will include

-

Training new and existing team members on housekeeping standards, key tasks and daily duties.

-

Delivering refresher training where required and monitoring trainee performance.

-

Recording training progress and ensuring all required training paperwork is completed and signed.

-

Checking grooming and presentation standards before the start of shifts.

-

Liaising with department managers or area managers regarding training needs, staff performance and operational issues.

Ensuring all employees are trained in relevant Health and Safety procedures.

Training employees on company policies and procedures, including lost property, chemical handling and safe working practices.

Re-training employees where standards, procedures or performance require improvement.

Supporting the team by ensuring employees have the correct equipment needed to perform their duties.

Ensuring electrical and housekeeping equipment is in good working order and checked regularly.

Completing weekly audits with the Area Manager where appropriate and following up on required actions.

Completing daily quality checks using the Omni Facilities Management quality app.

Promoting high standards, consistency and a positive learning culture across the housekeeping team.

Previous Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have

-

Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Trainer, Senior Room Attendant or similar role within a hotel environment.

-

Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel room standards.

-

Experience in training, coaching or supporting a diverse team of employees.

-

Confidence in completing quality checks, audits and standards reviews.

-

Good understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, PPE and safe working practices.

-

A training qualification is desirable but not essential, as development support may be provided.
