Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Support Coordinator to join our Events Team. This role supports the planning andexecution of internal and external events ranging from small meetings (6attendees) to large-scale events (600+ attendees), including exhibitions andinternational customer visits.

Youwill play a key role in delivering seamless and memorable event experiences.that enhance customer engagement and support business growth.

37.5 hours/week

Salary

£12.82/hr - £15.38/hr PAYE Basic excludingholiday pay or £17.00/hr - £20.50/hr UMB inside ofIR35

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end event coordination for internal and external events
  • Assist with venue sourcing, bookings, and site visits.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Track and manage event budgets
  • Raise purchase orders (POs) and support payment processes
  • Support on-site event execution, including setup, attendee coordination, and troubleshooting
  • Support post-event activities including reporting, evaluation, and feedback analysis
  • Create and manage event registration forms and websites (e.g., Cvent)

Support marketing campaigns including

  • Invitations and registration emails
  • Reminder communications
  • Pre-event joining instructions
  • Coordinate post-event communications such as surveys and feedback collection
  • Provide administrative support to the events team (meeting coordination, agendas, minutes)
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance)
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and suppliers
  • Support customer experience alignment across all events

Essential Requirements

  • Recent graduate or entry-level candidate with interest in event management
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong team player

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Exposure to event management tools (e.g., Cvent)
