About The Role

Shift Pattern

Varied shift rota - Two earlies and two lates with two days off.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Operate high‑lift vehicles to transport teams, equipment and materials to and from aircraft.
  • Position the vehicle safely and accurately at aircraft stands in line with airside protocols.
  • Conduct pre‑use checks, ensuring the vehicle is safe, compliant and ready for operation.
  • Work closely with supervisors and operational teams to meet tight turnaround times.
  • Ensure all safety, airport security and airside driving rules are followed at all times.
  • Report any defects, incidents or operational issues immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and its equipment.
  • Support additional operational tasks as required to maintain smooth service delivery.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

  • Ideal Candidate
  • Full UK driving licence (additional airside driving permits provided if needed).
  • Experience operating commercial, industrial or specialist vehicles (advantageous).
  • Strong awareness of safety, compliance and secure working environments.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual and a strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass airport security checks.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass vetting that is to CAA regulations, and security clearance.
