Room Leader / Senior Nursery Practitioner, Up to £35,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader / Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a high-quality early years setting in Witney, Oxfordshire, utilising their expertise in childcare and early education to drive excellence in a leadership role, supporting both children’s development and the growth of their team, and contributing to the delivery of outstanding care, learning, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team within your designated room, planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children, monitoring children’s progress, and supporting their development, while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and regulatory compliance, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development within the team, and working closely with senior management to achieve these goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Full and relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification, previous experience in a senior or room leader role, strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, a caring, positive, and proactive approach, commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and early education, and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), are essential for this position.
