Client Financial Liaison Officer

Due to growing client demand, we are seeking a motivated Client Finance Coordinator to join our expanding team.

The Role

As a Finance Officer, you will play a vital part in delivering a high-quality, efficient service to our clients and contributing to the day-to-day running of our organisation. This is a varied and rewarding role that blends finance, administration, and client support, all within a safeguarding-focused environment.

Roles & responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to

Managing financial responsibilities for a caseload of vulnerable clients, including budgeting, paying bills, and processing benefits and entitlements.

Completing and checking financial assessment forms for care contributions.

Preparing key client documentation (e.g. bundles for deputyship, deceased estates, and client relinquishments).

Handling client queries, escalating where appropriate, and providing front-line cover when needed.

Undertaking client visits and occasional property checks as part of our property service.

Liaising with social workers, care providers, agencies, and external stakeholders.

Ensuring all systems are accurately updated, notes well documented, and tasks completed in line with deadlines and safeguarding practices.

Supporting the wider team in identifying new business opportunities and improving client engagement.

Attributes

Good Microsoft Office skills

Organised and reliable, with a strong attention to detail

Able to follow instructions and work independently

Empathetic and confident when dealing with vulnerable individuals

Knowledgeable about DWP benefits and social care systems (preferred)

A clear communicator, both written and verbal

A good team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset
