Full time live in or live out Housekeeper Nanny (Kintbury)

About this role

Full time Housekeeper / Nanny required Live-In or Live-Out in Kintbury near Newbury Berkshire 871871

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and capable Housekeeper / Nanny to join a well-run private household. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role supporting a busy family with three school-aged children (7, 5 and 3 years old).

The position is primarily housekeeping-focused, working alongside a full-time Head Housekeeper to maintain high standards throughout the home. The successful candidate must be confident with all aspects of housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and family cooking, and be able to provide reliable support within the household team, including covering the Head Housekeeper when required.

Alongside this, the role requires a naturally warm and capable approach with children, supporting a hands-on mother with childcare duties such as school routines, after-school care, and babysitting when needed.

This role is best suited to a true all-rounder — someone who takes pride in maintaining a well-run home, is highly capable in housekeeping tasks, and is equally comfortable stepping in to support with the children.

The ideal candidate will be a confident driver and willing to travel with the family when required. Flexibility across the week is essential, as working patterns will vary depending on the children’s schedules and family needs.
