About this role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive band 6 nurse within the medicine division on Kemp Welch Ward, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated nurse to join our team.
We are looking for applicants who can remain resilient, positive and and proactive as we evolve and adapt to the changes and challenges of establishing a new clinical area.
The Band 6 role is the key supporting function to the Band 7 and Matron to enable the optimal care of our patients and to the success of our Trust. The delivery of a high quality, effective and compassionate care is the most important role within the organisation. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate nurses, ready to step into a leadership role within our team.
You will be expected to provide solid leadership while working on the ward, helping to maintain a safe environment whilst acting as a role model to junior staff through your ability to work to the trusts C.A.R.E values. You will be experienced in leading a shift and be able to demonstrate problem solving skills and an ability to help develop staff skills and competencies.
Full time hours required, with a mixture of days/nights and weekends.
