We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager and support all aspects of Facilities Management service provision.
This role sits within a team focused on delivering clear outcomes for customers and stakeholders, with individual responsibility for the delivery of defined services and projects.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service on a day-to-day basis.
The quality of service delivered by the Facilities Management team is a core deliverable and is made transparent to customers and stakeholders, requiring a proactive, organised and service-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver front-of-house duties, including welcoming visitors and supporting them appropriately
Ensure security procedures are followed at all times
Provide support services such as porterage, meeting room management and managing the FM mailbox
Complete inductions for new starters, including health & safety and environmental inductions
Log, facilitate and oversee reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
Ensure compliance with environmental and HSEQ standards, including self-delivered PPMs (training provided)
Support traffic management plans, fire risk assessments and water hygiene arrangements, as appropriate
Respond to jobs as they are raised, log repairs, manage contractors and act as Facilities Assistant support for site users
