About The Role

Days of Working

Monday to Friday - 2.30pm to 5.30 pm

Key responsibilities

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • You will be supporting in managing the Front of House day-to-day operations of catering services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Supporting in creating and planning daily menus that are innovative, cost-effective, and meet dietary requirements
  • Monitoring the quality of food and beverages, ensuring portion control, and maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Leading and supervising the Front of House catering team, including training staff and managing their performance
  • Ensuring excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining hygiene standards, and keeping accurate records
  • Ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and conducting inventory checks
  • Helping to control costs, and ensuring the catering service is financially viable

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Contract Catering industry is required
  • Hold relevant qualifications, have knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety is a must
  • A proven track record in supervising a team and leadership is crucial
  • Demonstrate high standards and be well organised in all areas of Management
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills are essential

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • Ability to handle different situations and find practical solutions
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time-management and organisational abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • While not always mandatory, having a food hygiene certificate (Level 2) is advantageous

  • Have an understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control
