About The Role
Working Days
Mon - Fri during core office hours - This role operates on contracts on a National model with travel to client sites and meetings when required.
Join our team as a Commercial Finance Business Partner – Government, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and analysing financial operations within our Public Sector FM Business Unit. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and contribute to strategic decision-making.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts in collaboration with Central Finance and Operations.
- Delivering timely and accurate financial and non-financial performance data and analysis.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in line with regional and group deadlines.
- Conducting performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of monthly payment applications, reconciliations, and client returns.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- High level security clearance will be required due to the nature of the Client you will be working with.
- UK driving licence.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of contractual obligations and internal governance frameworks.
- Must have experience in other accounting and finance roles and be willing to travel to sites.
