About The Role

Working Patten

Monday to Friday - Morning shifts 5 hours per day with start times to be confirmed at interview

THE APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE POLICE VETTING BEFORE EMPLOYMENT CAN BEGIN

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells.
  • Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is always required.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed.
  • Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH).
  • To ensure the handover of any outstanding work.

Qualifications & Experience

Skills & abilities

  • Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team.
  • Good communication skills,
  • Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Attention to detail and proactive.

Experience

  • Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • Previous experience within similar role.

Any other requirements

  • Flexible approach to working hours, including working weekends & Bank Holidays
  • Willingness to take any further appropriate training.
