About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team at OCS as a Cleaning Operative, where in the performance of your duties you will ensure that, while working as part of a team, the inside of train carriages are cleaned from front to back and ready to start the next stage of their journey.
Night Shift (10
00pm – 6:00am), working 5 days out of 7 on a rotating basis, including weekends as required.
Working at pace and to timetables, it is vital to be a good communicator and having a happy to help can-do attitude is a must to ensure that work is completed to schedule. You will be on the front line of the operation and play a key role in the delivery of service to our client by ensuring that trains are cleaned to a high standard and are ready for rail users at the start of their journey and rail experience.
Key Responsibilities

Cleaning of washrooms, communal areas & floor space
-
Vacuuming, sweeping dusting & damp wiping

Litter collection, emptying of bins & disposal
-
Sanitisation of touch points
-
Use of cleaning equipment.

Reporting of any equipment faults and health and safety concerns

Adhering to all health & safety guidelines
-
Attend relevant health & safety training
-
Attend all training deemed by the company necessary to perform this role

Previous experience working in cleaning
