About The Role

Working within EMCOR UK who are now part of OCS UK&I.

This position would require 4 days in Cambridge and 1 day in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs across the site.
Respond promptly to electrical faults and emergencies.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical standards.
Work collaboratively with the wider facilities and technical teams.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Perform Fabric Maintenance work onsite.

Hiring Criteria

Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal
Proven experience working in a commercial environment.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Full clean driving licence
Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.

Essential Qualifications

A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ
Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card.

Desirable Qualifications

An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
