Long Term Futures are seeking a resilient and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full time long term temporary basis. The role itself is based in Claygate, is classroom based in a small closed setting, with incredible outdoor learning facilities.

This role is perfect for those with EYFS and SEN experience as the role is a mixture of classroom based and 1:1 support with students within the EYFS setting.

About the Role

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and

SLT your duties will include

* Supporting the EYFS curriculum with learning through play and phonics

*

Providing 1

1 support to students with hight needs as and when required this can include personal care.

* Acting as a Key Person, monitoring progress and ensuring each child feels safe and supported

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Experience supporting EYFS pupils with ASD and other associated needs.

* A creative approach to learning and the flexibility to adapt activities and strategies to meet the diverse needs of children

* A compassionate and patient demeanour, with the ability to understand and respond to the individual needs of each child.

* Reliable and committed to a long-term placement

* Level 3 EYFS qualification

* A current Paediatric First Aid Certificate is desirable
